About Loudoun County Criminal History

Loudoun County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, three Virginia courts, town police departments, the Virginia Department of State Police CCRE repository, the corrections system, and the Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry. This private reference site organizes those official routes so a reader can identify the right portal, counter, mailing process, or telephone number before making a request.

Why We Built This Site

Virginia uses separate record systems for separate purposes. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office controls its reports and local custody files. General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations District, and Circuit Court clerks keep their own case records. The Virginia Department of State Police, Criminal Justice Information Services Division, Central Criminal Records Exchange maintains the state repository used for official criminal-history responses. The Virginia Department of Corrections and Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry add distinct custody, supervision, and registration sources. We arrange verified agency contacts, request steps, search fields, and access limits around that local structure.

What You Will Find Here

The site organizes its Loudoun County material around the official record holder and the task a reader needs to complete.

  • Official check instructions: how mailed name searches and authorized fingerprint channels work through Virginia State Police CCRE
  • Record guides: how Loudoun County court cases, arrests, custody entries, and registry profiles are located and read
  • Agency contacts: where to reach LCSO, Loudoun court clerks, town police records units, and statewide custodians
  • Record relief context: where Virginia expungement and sealing rules lead a person reviewing their own record

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Virginia court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
  • We cannot issue a certified court paper, repository history, police report, or custody record
  • We cannot submit a VFOIA request, correction, expungement petition, or sealing petition for a reader
  • We cannot interpret a charge, advise on a warrant, or provide legal advice about a specific case
  • We cannot promise that an agency fee, office hour, address, or online procedure has not changed

Only the originating sheriff, police department, court clerk, Virginia State Police CCRE, or other lawful custodian can issue an official record.

Search Partners

Outside providers power some search boxes. They operate under their own terms, prices, data practices, and result methods. A paid signup reached through a search tool may generate a referral payment that supports this resource. We do not set the provider’s charges or control its results, and the tool is not a substitute for an official Loudoun County or Virginia record.
